With 1,500 sites across multiple states, each region tabulated data independently. They created a new tab every month for every site, resulting in hundreds of tabs across multiple workbooks. The business challenge? Real-time analysis was impossible. Trend detection only happened annually, causing delays and limited insight.
Approach & Solution
We were engaged through the Head of Health & Safety to redesign the data process. Rather than relying on disparate spreadsheets, we leveraged the existing TM1 platform to build standardised data cubes. We consolidated three years of historical data, created standard input sheets and aligned hierarchies for all sites and employees.
As a result, real-time data refreshes became possible and the team regained control over their analytics.

The process, previously requiring a full-time resource per region, now takes just days for the entire organisation. Real-time data means faster, more accurate reporting. Manual effort dropped significantly, freeing resources for higher-value tasks.
